-- selling out his immediate -- -- and so is a guy like Mitch Daniels happy he never ever jumped in the united Republican governor decided to stay out -- us.

Not regretting it later on the Indiana governor Mitch Daniels -- right now you know -- and I I look back I remember I was disappointed many of Europe.

A loyal fans and supporters were when you decided not suits a run for the White House.

And it stays -- looking at what.

These guys have to go through I wonder why anyone does.

Good question Neil I mean now I don't spending time worrying about it one done is done.

That at second -- -- as well -- people obsessed with holding public office I might.

Be sitting around.

Torture and myself because I think the probability is possibilities of success were pretty good -- you know looking.

Somebody Ben Johnson I think said to be happy at home as the end of all human endeavor and I got a happy family and a happy home and that's that's going to be good enough for me.

Enforcing governor Ben left out in laws but that's all separate issue and a follow up book.

Armed but governor I'm wondering now.

You see there -- I'd refer to it this sort of whack a mole.

Strategy of the media or whatever going after these candidates are temporary -- and -- lead them all Newt Gingrich is the latest.

-- -- -- what's going on here.

We probably asking the wrong person I've I've got to unbroken.

Record of failure that this call on this race.

You and I don't five.

Yeah out and -- I agree we're in good company now I thought you know Tim Pawlenty did.

Do well and that didn't work out I didn't see.

McCain comment and obviously didn't see the surge of of Newt Gingrich I'm not sure were.

At the end of the surprises yet to -- Not that.

I don't know what might come next that.

You know John Huntsman they did -- probably at the worst product launch since New Coke but.

You know maybe maybe he gets another look.

Go business -- -- I -- less about necessarily believe yet you're right about that but governor around.

And it maybe -- this is a moot point if the economy appears to be picking up steam certainly not robustly not grandiose sleep but enough that the president is going to point.

So this steady improvement has assigned to he deserves four more years and any of these Republicans of the world their infighting and name calling -- badgering do not.

What -- I think the president's in desperate political shape and and is unlikely to be -- in much better shape on his own his policies are manifestly failing they're uniformly.

Hostile to the private sector growth that that alone can bring hope and jobs back to this country and alone can.

Stave off a debt catastrophe.

And he's -- wall on the big bold reforms that really everyone knows we have to make.

To the and entitlement programs for instance.

Before going to not the follow the path of Greece and Italy and and our European friends so.

I believe that a a positive constructive and unifying Republican campaign next year that levels -- the American people.

Who know instinctively if not in detail that we -- a bad fix here.

And that it's gonna take big change to bring back the America we've known I think that campaign is likely to succeed.

Yet we're not hearing right I mean for any of them I mean maybe -- some degrees in some but.

Do you think about it governor I mean this this got.

Along CEOs sort of -- -- -- -- -- didn't mean you but there's frustration yet at the time.

That we have to wait until after the election to sort this out the CEO saying look.

At four billion dollars a day added to our debt -- all these other problems that you guys -- -- addressing now you're telling me do so waiting here no thank you.

And that's the frustration and is not a risk for Republicans.

That there's sort -- running out the clock and running themselves potentially at a town.

-- the Democrats and the president who -- the town right now and the president and senator Reid.

That made it -- yet again in this super committee they were offered a significant amount a new revenue the right way the way that doesn't hurt growth.

Incidentally given their obsession with wealthier people it would've.

Fall -- -- through closing loopholes fallen primarily on such people.

And they turned it down flat so -- the reason nothing's gonna happen for a year which I regret as much as that.

Guy you talked about is entirely the president his allies around and you know it's up to the Republicans -- field of candidates I think to make the case get authorities American people go make big change next year.

Aren't you gonna guys -- just take this to the end okay I apologize.

Governor wasn't over -- so but I wanna -- longer with you know months.

On day and then you are not blame -- republicans' -- just saying.

Will just.

Wait this one out and then maybe we'll get some clarity because we try to -- president but we don't get the clarity.

Doesn't that -- looking just as stubborn as the president says Republicans are and as Republicans say the president and it's.

Look we all know Paul Ryan wanted to act yesterday he's the one who put out a year ago the best blueprint the best starting point yet.

For saving our nation and -- protecting future generations so I think.

In whatever that -- episode was you've mentioned.

You've probably just expressing with resignation.

The fact that the fit the the way it is -- -- go the president is not -- not gonna let it happen well.

You're right Iraq but -- yesterday.

This this.

Concerned about Mitt Romney has the nominee I guess.

None -- it people develop a passion for candidate but.

-- whether it's inevitable thing of the fact that he's not jazz and the party.

For whatever reason.

And that they look for alternative flavors almost by the month.

What does that say about Mitt Romney are you concerned about.

Not not really concerned about I think he's a very credible candidate would make a very good president.

And I I like some of the things he's been saying lately as his campaign evolves he's begun to speak more forthrightly about the need.

Two create for the future.

New safety net program so we can save the safety net as well as our economy.

He's.

I think.

And growing as a candidate and absolutely I'm glad he's in the in this field.

All right we'll watch closely aren't any interest in the vice president's.

One for Cavuto actually -- that -- now like to hand of to plant that you talked about people who might come from you know outside the box and that's my nomination.

That would be that would pretty much seal the deal for good disease but governor I saw you in the -- you had just to the state Illinois when you were last with us I think they wanna get -- Run for governor there would you be well be -- have a very good Christmas governors thank you.
