Controversial Keystone Pipeline could get new life -- the house floor this week joining us now Nebraska governor Dave Heineman the pipeline could go right through the state.

Yes we do we support the pipeline in the issue is always been the route.

We've had a special session we're working with trans Canada and now we're gonna change the route around the the most environmentally sensitive area and our state.

Call the sand he'll probably get that done and over the next I'll say six to nine months ended to the president let's get.

The construction going now we should mention -- those who don't know before the -- change you were against it so that's very significant that you were in favor of it now.

But the president says is gonna have to wait until 2013.

Some folks in -- say we can't wait that long.

Well we've had those conversations with many of those officials in Canada.

I think we can get into the present -- president's desk much sooner and he's thinking.

And the fact of the matter -- our hope once he receives that.

There's been enough -- he just needs to make a decision let's move for group this this is about energy independence.

It's about reducing our dependence on Middle East oil and American jobs in -- were supportive of this we wanna see a go forward.

OK but there's a proposed heard and then we just showed the other -- that you would be much more comfortable with who's to say though governor that that everybody's gonna be screaming not my backyard or at least part of my backyard.

And that they end up having to it to change the -- this travels all the way through those states.

Until it looks like some type of Rube Goldberg type of puzzle.

Everybody else's signed off on it we worked with the Department of State they've agreed to this delay -- -- -- -- work with us.

We're gonna have this new route and a new supplemental environmental impact statement.

-- and I hope by the middle next year and we move forward.
