While back to follow the money a former democratic congressman made headlines when he dared break ranks and reveal the ugly truth voter fraud is rampant.
Among Democratic Party machine take a listen.
They have manufacturing absentee ballot they're voting people -- bound.
Because.
They want to control.
Politics and thwart progress.
Joining me now former congressman.
Well voter fraud unfortunately is something that does happen.
It's a lot more likely to happen in rural communities it's a lot more likely to happen in communities were one political machine is trying to hold on to power.
And in virtually every campaign that I -- in my district there were few candy is where I have to worry about the ballots being cooked.
Where you knew that you were going to lose a certain number of absentee ballots and yet to offset -- on Election Day and -- that's the way politics was practice.
It's not a good thing and it's something that we can fix with the right kind of notoriety -- -- to -- you to vote -- that the governor Paterson had a nice day if you show up to vote on Election -- great have to show and I.
Glad you said that so that the only did we discuss this quite a bit bit of the idea that a lot of liberals on let's say you shouldn't be required to show an -- to -- you disagree.
Well if you try to cash a check in this country better have -- -- right if you wanna get on a plane you better have a nice day.
And if you want to get in the building -- New York Washington DC.
Chances are you better have a nice day whether it's a government building or private building -- a case you know and I don't think it's -- -- reasonable to say that if we have these standards for all the other things that we do that we should have voting right especially since you know you're electing officials -- ultimately gonna spend our our tax dollars.
I want to people who are making those decisions who who do elect to have to to have to be here legally for wind.
Amongst other things and not be a -- if I'm not mistaken right.
Well transparency is a good thing and a lot of people -- know who -- progressives.
Transparency is a big value players they wanna make sure that we know where the money's coming from politics that want to make sure that we know.
All kinds of things about financial transactions in this country.
If we want transparency with respect to our markets with respect to our campaigns of finance what would we want transparency with respect to the core of our politics which is casting a ballot -- absentee or live at the polls -- before I let you go a little bit off topic value we heard he's over here you say.
Be filled -- Obama has gone too far left.
Can you clarify that.
Well I'm not gonna anyway suggest to you that I speak for necessarily a lot of people in the Democratic Party this.
But I do think -- speak for a lot of people who run the center.
-- for a lot of independence.
A lot of voters four years ago wanted to believe that this country was ready to move away from this ideological logjam that's -- -- politics for about twenty years.
And they wanted to believe we'd have a government.
Focused on pragmatic results.
Obviously the economy is the main reason president Obama's been a political trouble the last few years.
The secondary reason almost support.
Is that the government spent a little bit more liberal on some basis a lot more liberal -- a lot of independent voters want it to be conscience is still one of the center of American -- decided not to run IC I for one good support you vehemently if you decide to change your mind to run.
You -- for congress we appreciate your time congressman.
Davis thank you so much yet.
