Tonight on a doctor will tell you about two stories that are each different sides of the same coin first the economy.

The Federal Reserve and big banks nationwide kept him more than two year old seven trillion dollars secret under wraps.

Like thieves in the night big banks walked away with trillions of dollars in emergency secret loans loans that generated thirteen billion dollars in income.

Because of the Fed's below market interest rates and all the while lawmakers were kept in the dark as the Fed and the banks.

Chose to disclose this information to know one.

And even though the Fed claims the money was paid back reports show that taxpayers paid the real cost next your freedom.

We bring to the story of how senators John McCain and Carl Levin are looking to make America into a military state.

And give the president the power to -- judge jury and executioner.

With the bill that if it becomes law would enable him to detain in definitely.

American citizens arrested on American soil.

All of the name.

Of a war on terror.

But not all lawmakers are on board take a listen to this.

-- -- There is one thing and one thing only that is protecting American citizens and that's our constitution.

The checks we put on government power.

Should we aired today and remove some of the most important checks on state power in the name of fighting terrorism.

Within the terrorists have won.

Well -- the terrorists have won we'll hear more from senator Rand Paul later in the show.

The government is using fear to scare is it -- justifying its actions in the case of the Federal Reserve and the war on terror.

And both cases demonstrate how extreme government actions have extremely endanger the nation's economy.

And your personal liberty.

Here within sites is a faithful defender of the American constitution.

A man who seeks to halt to the government's power grabs right in their track Michigan Republican congressman and good friend of the show.

Just in a much congressman -- much of the pleasure welcome back of freedom watch.

Thanks so much judge let's start with the news about the Federal Reserve we all learned yesterday.

That -- and years ago the Federal Reserve secretly printed and loan to its favored big -- seven point seven trillion.

Dollars.

In a six month period at the end of 2008 and 2009.

We know that the same time period the congress was appropriating.

700.

Billion dollars in so called TARP funds.

Allegedly to to shore up the same banks which supposedly needed.

Money from the taxpayers.

What.

Didn't we know and why didn't we know it.

Well judge we didn't know much of anything it was -- it's super TARP if you wanna call it something else.

It was unbelievable the Fed has been.

-- loaning out money without the American people -- -- and this is how it's been going on for years that they need to be audited and I think they need to be ended.

You need they need to be audited and they need to be and I wish you know I wish this that a majority of your colleagues agreed with you guess -- In the last congress the majority of colleagues did agree with -- but the Republican leadership wouldn't let that vote come to the floor question.

Well we see an audit of the Fed.

So we don't have seven point seven trillion dollar surprises in the middle of the night will we see a serious reevaluation of the Fed.

In this congress.

I hope so but it never seems to come full fruition and when they bring the bill up to off the bad -- throw a lot of extra garbage in there to make it had not do what it's intended to do and I think yeah that's probably we'll get again.

You know it's really fundamentally unfair congressman and cash.

For these banks and not all of the banks -- to blame some of them.

John Allison is on right after you he was the chair of BB&T he'll tell you how the Fed's.

Force fed money to him against -- will.

And against basic principles of economics 101 but some of these banks pleaded poverty it's necessary to save the nation's credit system.

We have to have this cash.

While they were getting more cash than they needed from the Federal Reserve.

Tell me what you think of this.

I think they committed fraud.

By pleading poverty to the public.

While accepting trillions in cash from the Fed under the table they -- -- the public and misled the congress and this led the president.

Well absolutely the banks are making -- great under the system we have here it's American people who are getting duped it's American people who are being robbed.

And I call on my colleagues on both sides I'll put an end to it.

All right the senate and you're a member of the house but the senate as well we speak.

Is debating whether or not the president should have the authority to arrest -- he wants -- detain them for however long he wants basically.

To take them out of the criminal justice system and removed from them the protections that are.

Quote guaranteed close quote by the constitution.

You oppose this you drew the ire of John McCain and Carl Levin senators who drafted this amendment to an appropriations bill in secret.

Why -- they may -- you know.

What's your argument.

And while they're mad at me because I'm defending the constitution I'm defending liberty.

This country was built upon the idea of liberty.

And if we -- -- fighting terrorism destroying liberty in the process and we're not really accomplishing the goal of defending this country.

So I think we need to go back the constitution American citizens should never be detained.

Certainly indefinitely without charge or trial at the discretion of the president that is completely outrageous and -- my constituents agree with me.

On top of this the -- that this legislation by the -- -- when the president the president actually to his credit.

And there are few people who want to see him not reelected then you and I but to his credit he's threatened to veto this but if this becomes law the president will have the authority.

He is law enforcement for domestic.

What to use the military for domestic law enforcement purposes.

How alien would that be.

To see troops with rifles and helmets marching in our streets congressman march something we haven't seen in America since reconstruction.

Again -- be a travesty it's what our founders fought against that's why we became an independent nation.

It's why we thought to put the constitution in place and create a system where liberty we defend it and if we go back to the the old way then that's the same as though we're under British rule.

Congressman just in a much defending the constitution.

And your personal liberties thanks for joining us -- judged.

With so many big banks receive.
