Are you optimistic that this -- committee is gonna meet -- deadline.

Because I think both Joseph and I agree that the most important thing we can do is to create jobs in this economy.
-- starting in small business and to make goods in America again and without putting little girls fourteen to 24 million Americans who are out of work back to work.
They're not gonna be able to get to a robust economy with just austerity.
They have to make decisions they create jobs in this country.
Congressman.
Lou I'm not optimistic about this opportunity I didn't like the idea from the beginning I don't like the idea and now.
This is the job that are -- legislators on -- should be doing.
We know what needs to be done.
We need to cut spending reform our entitlement programs and grow this economy.
I'm not confident and all that and super -- maybe.
Is going to be able to make the tough decisions to make that happen.
As you both -- leaks coming out of the super committee.
Is suggesting that they're looking -- cuts and access and point of fact of three trillion dollars.
And in some cases proposals reach to entitlements.
Social Security Medicare.
Are you both comfortable with.
-- that committee reaching to that level going into entitlements.
And going to Yahoo! or one point two trillion I'm sort.
-- citizens across our country I believe in negotiated pricing.
Four bulk -- the pharmaceuticals.
As we did when we purchase Cipro we had all these health threats back about a decade ago.
And the DA currently does bulk buying that's a so much money if they save money that way I support it.
If they cut into the bone of senior citizens who are nursing homes across this country -- bed sores in -- able to have decent nursing care I can't go there.
Congressman.
Lou we're so much that -- in this were 1415.
Trillion dollars in debt and that's gonna go up every single year if we can't find.
Three trillion dollars in cuts let's remember over the next ten years.
Then shame on us again broken record we know what needs to be done we do need to cut spending everywhere.
But we have to have a tough talk with the American people and we've got to look at these entitlements and reform them so they'll be around.
The other thing -- is -- -- talked at the beginning about jobs.
We do need to create jobs and grow this economy.
We just -- dramatically different vision as to how to get that done certainly we Republicans do from this present.
Let me let me turn to the tough talking president that we've -- right now because He is talking very tough indeed.
He says I wanna get this reaction from each of you as a Democrat and Republican.
He is basically saying.
The heck with congress saying we can't wait he's taking for a man who talked about -- models of a lot as a candidate.
-- a decidedly unilateral on domestic issues apparently.
He is saying we can't wait he's repeating that mantra something tells me we're gonna hear a lot more in the weeks and months ahead.
He's saying that we're congress Marcy Kaptur I congresswoman how do you feel.
I feel that He should go to the country.
I think the -- the president is with people and showing the conditions under which they are living.
Going into these towns that have lost jobs.
How many giving example I was on the phone this morning with one because you're a elderly Italians -- congress thousand jobs available either way.

People that applied so I think that the more the president goes to the country and -- the message of the people with congress you'll see some movement in the congress.

My question was do you have a problem with this president acting unilaterally.
And stepping away from congress and not involving humorous and some would argue we should prostitution.
Well then we have to exercise our powers.
Were different branches of government.
And we looked to work with president says we can when we -- -- we do but we have to exercise -- muscles we just can't put in a kind of days that we had yesterday and today where we weren't legislating most of the day and Canadians -- -- most hey hey personally -- So it should probably come as it was surprising yes I have a problem with this president bypassing the normal legislative process -- I don't need to be disrespectful.
But I really I don't believe he's really very relevant and more.
The man is a walking speech and he's a walking one liner a month or so ago it was pass this now or something like this now which we can't wait.
He's not serious he's been campaigning for eight months.
Everything he's done in the last three years has destroyed job creation in this country let me we've got I wanna agree on how the backs of.
Real job creators if -- were not for this president we would not have an automotive industry left in this country.
So I think that.
I'm Rick we can't be extreme in our statements we have to be more measured and certainly part of the country to rescue the automotive industry and refinancing.
That has been a big job creator in our region.
With -- this.
Very quick on an annual congress are just as they look the country is suffocating right now because of these this president's policies we need to reverse what he's done.
