Are some hospitals resorted to turning -- patients to save mining while the managing editor for Fox News health dot com doctor Betty.

Alvarez joins us with more on that and really happening.

It is happening listen we that we wrote a story this week.

Because in Australia basically the running out of money and they decided to turn away patients that were illegal.

And I wrote a piece.

Because I think that this is coming to America fast and furious the reason for that is that our health care system is broken.

Hospitals have no money.

And with the amount of illegal immigration and the amount of money sure and you name -- hospitals cannot meet their their their you know their payments.

And ultimately what's gonna happen I think you know -- and -- happened I mean I found a story just recently September 14 Grady Memorial Hospital McClintock.

Is has decided that -- -- -- aren't the if you don't have insurance and you cannot pay especially for non emergency services they're not going to be able to provide you with care.

And they have decided to shift some of these patients to other hospitals and in the -- and Georgia.

Because they can keep the doors open if you look at the amount of hospitals are closing their doors -- even here in the city of New York is astronomical shall ultimately.

Something has to be done.

In order to bring the you know these services back on line I mean -- -- have to be given to some of these medical centers.

Specially the ones that are that do graduate medical education train residents because.

There's basically that there's really no money.

No money whatsoever to give his house.

Little bit Dr.

-- in on the horizon there is really nothing that's gonna change that equation terms the cost of medical care in this country.

The availability of doctors 'cause but obamacare hadn't even start -- -- kick in yet Obama reform on goodbye I don't that's dead bear I.

Analog criticism because they say you know what kind of a doctor are you you know I'm against obamacare for a simple reason is that.

You know that the back and you know -- -- going to ensure in whatever way you want weather's a public option or not.

If you gonna ensure all these millions of people we just don't have the resources take care of them and basically now even with the current system you have hospitals closing down.

You have hospitals turning patients away and this is gonna become a chronic problem.

-- if you add all these millions of people that you just can handle them so what are you gonna create chaos.

You know.

Weak -- -- the president talked about tort reform nothing has happened at about tort reform at any level.

And that continues to be huge problem you know states are complaining that let's say Medicaid dollars that they get allocated in their state.

They've been told what to do with those dollars and every state is different they have different -- give the -- the autonomy to handle those Medicaid dollars.

You know out of network positions are basically not taking chances anymore and the reason for that is that -- they insurance industry.

Pays more attention to out of network and they paid doctors more -- hospitals more so why even bother having an insurance policy.

So the whole system is all broken people are not doing anything about it and ultimately the American public is getting hurt.

I don't we let you go Dr.

Manny this is -- illustrate some of the pressure put on these medical center and if you saw this on the Jersey turnpike -- this billboard will Bergen -- And showed she aware that they own medical center they actually put the wait time in real time in the ER -- up on the run.

Needs to do gotten you know this story -- to do is all the time it by I was in New York City needed to go to the emergency room.

I'll call around the hospitals that take somebody cut -- -- ot call Bob hospitalized.

Look at and what -- -- -- enemy and America has been by the health -- establishment if you have an emergency you do go to a doctor.

I think go to the emergency room at eight year old debut whether you have -- -- whether -- legal or illegal and basically the system has been abused so much -- now basically.

But even the people that are that are are legally in this country that that are part working are gonna find a hard time finding -- hospital in their community ultimately.

That can take care of their problems and I think that that's just terrible.

Document but a -- child thinks if that's not also.

OK you've got -- you Fox News health.
