We've been telling you President Obama again on the road to try to sell his jobs plan but what kind of jobs might come out of this new stimulus package.
The first one pay for projects such as one in Buffalo, New York where researchers -- a state university gave people.
45 dollars to tell them how much malt liquor they were drinking and how much pot they were smoking.
The taxpayers actually shelled out three -- -- 90000 dollars for this study.
Which only created two jobs anyway but buffalo businessmen part Carl Paladino says the president just doesn't get it if He thinks this is gonna make.
Things make things better in this country so Karl.
This is in your backyard.
The pain people -- to ask him questions about drinking cold 45 and smoking dope.
And you wonder why the people of this nation don't have confidence in this administration.
Or in the congress.
That the people are people are upset about these things -- -- decisions of cactus bugs.
There's also.
2191000.
-- to study the sex lies a female college freshman.
Something I -- I really think should be the last up to the parents rather than governor researchers but bottom line here.
The government comes out -- -- jobs figures and of course Austan Goolsbee another touting that.
The government actually created or saved a lot of -- a lot of these jobs are based on these cockamamie projects.
Government saved the government in the last stimulus bill subsidize local governments and municipalities.
And -- trade unions.
They they built infrastructure they kept them going at that high cost level for another year.
Instead of the compelling local governments to lower.
-- their job forced to lower.
The cost of government and -- Texas to was to stimulate the economy He did just the reverse He kept it going artificially.
Bye -- when the market is falling.
You should be stimulating the bottom and the people that are actually out of work that's stimulating -- top that and well that's it.
-- at a higher the bottom and are the -- are the small and medium -- companies who once we're hiring people for the first time not hiring a very -- that's where the job growth really comes from in this country right it doesn't -- from adding infrastructure jobs for trade unions it -- for or four -- for college researchers starting to sex lives of female freshen.
How about how about we stimulate.
Bye -- dual roles of vaulted and we go back to -- CCC's.
And we and we give these people an opportunity.
We can pay for it by.
By.
Using their welfare checks and their unemployment insurance checks by putting them to work when -- that you are you advocating -- FDR policy of like work program have been our policy that makes sense.
We wanna risk but do you think that FDR actually turn the depression around because most people say it wasn't.
Nothing really have a deterrent to pressure around until war war to the program helped educate the masses that were out of work.
Little uneducated masses are those that are out of work today.
And we wanna put those people to work and make -- contributors and nor society we want to offer my education programs and the way to do that is by implementing.
Us some of these poet Carl I'm surprised that they argued this point -- -- because they did -- you go there but but hasn't the administration already been pumping up these programs to know what failed the education programs I mean in addition of these bad projects they are pumping up education now that while they say they don't -- but.
What are they doing they're subsidizing united teachers.
Why because those people are voting form.
Why they -- trade union because they vote for me it's very simple the American people know what and that's why they don't have any faith in -- government right now.
The answer is to do just the opposite of what they're doing -- to bottom.
Help those people that are on welfare hopefuls people are unemployed couple get back into our society that's -- but money is best spent.
That's where it's going to be spent anyway either on welfare or unemployment might as well use that money to put them back is there's contributors to our society and what about small businesses what role -- play in rebuilding they haven't they they they are the role.
They are the ones that that are gonna be stimulated by hoping the lower classes get in there and get back to work to take to -- And and that's that's exactly where you want the money to go you wanted to goal.
Into that world.
So as to encourage a small businesses to provide the services for these people.
Either way good book the forgotten man by -- chalets that goes against all of this stuff that suggests that what FDR was doing didn't work in terms of these training programs although.
I must say my grandfather we took one of these training programs during the depression I guess was in the CC's but it didn't necessarily help him get out of the doldrums that much.
It wasn't until we really revive the economy the things change Carl Paladino standing up by the our economy but it's going to be done that a private sector and not a government.
Good to see -- current thanks for being here -- --
