Tell you what.
Entrepreneurs are what runs this country and we were just talking about why we are coming down on them and taxing them when you know what -- -- the job creators of the world.
Which is why now -- is here with us right now CEO of count me in because you have helped thousands of women create jobs and opportunity for themselves and -- -- -- -- right.
OK so where are we these days what are women thinking before we get to these you know men only jobs that are.
Thankfully not -- only anymore right what are what are -- women action are saying are things getting better I think annoyed with the administration what's the voice of them I.
I don't hear much in -- that the administration I think a lot of working people are too focused on growing their business to pay attention to politics at this point I mean that's that's you know I might accept before actually yes that they -- -- they're busy running their businesses.
And everything is slower.
But I see steady growth I got an email from when this morning who is a building contractor she does.
-- -- department stores you know restaurants and stuff like that.
She's gone from 300000 out of three million in a year and a half so well she's in New York she's written on the best contractors in the city.
But she changed her business model not heard this astonishing change the paradigm because she delivers on budget -- on time.
And so she is getting an enormous amount of business so she's growing like wildfire.
Bob Casey is delivering on budget and on time I mean it's like sounds like the most ridiculous thing that that's changing the paradigm but anybody that build anything knows.
Nobody comes in on by restaurants not exactly so so.
She figured she you know women often are experiencing you know remodeling of stores restaurants and and particularly their homes right and what you wanna know is winking get the kids back into the routine when He give back in your -- -- to back -- your bathroom yes she gets that so she does it.
And it's working -- that's good English -- -- New -- -- He -- -- say no a little bit of anomaly in the housing market that's for sure but nevertheless we somebody is benefiting from but we're also seeing growth in Maryland.
In Portland Oregon and in Florida in in.
Women are moving into the construction and sort of remodeling business at an incredible rate.
And they are doing very well and why is that is it because they were once like interior decorators and they took the next step.
To -- grew up in a construction business Heidi lands in the construction business.
A couple of them had parents who are entrepreneurs but not in the construction business.
The woman I was just speaking about appeal -- sexy she studied architecture.
And couldn't get a job was an architect though so started -- design and build company where she goes in and does the design and also does the construction.
So she knew a part of the business.
Some of these other women one was a partner.
And went into construction.
The woman out on the West Coast another.
I think sought as an opportunity to make money and you know learned the business -- in in in in South Florida so I think it's a combination.
-- of opportunities.
You know exposure to something knowing some of the business and then getting into it in a big way they're also are opportunities -- government contracts clearly.
Men and women are supposed to get a decent chunk of them aren't they -- they get past 5%.
5% -- -- it's it's it's not a huge percent now but if they got it it would mean if if we all stepped up and really worked at getting those contracts.
Because there's one woman in our group to resell our Baikonur who's not seventeen million and a good portion of her business.
Is like rebuilding you know universities things like that and to some of that comes to government contracts some of that comes through two private work -- haven't.
You're hearing here to talk about the -- the job facing men only -- that women -- -- -- construction clearly one of them.
And what else are you seeing big changes -- I I -- I it's not a big change but it was an encouraging.
Moment last week I met a woman.
Who runs a great -- auto repair shop only 1% of auto repairs are done by women.
And she it was her grandfather's business and her father's business and she's taken over the business.
And she has started a woman ought to know dot com website.
Excellent helping us learn more about our cars and also what to expect -- repairs which she wants to set up training programs for.
Girls in high school to understand that this is a place -- you can go and make money should a half million dollars in the business.
Not repairing cars that has been a purview of men for ever and so we're seeing that kind of opportunity.
There's more activity going on in mining was women.
Really I hear about this because women are.
Rated more responsible with a heavy equipment they don't treat it like sports cars they treat it like something that's very expensive -- -- So they are starting to be looked upon as people who really can make it in the mining industry all very new I don't wanna say -- like thousands and thousands of women -- yet.
But I would also the other -- we're seeing it is in in waste disposal pest control education.
Our risk management yeah yeah how women are getting into that and some of it because it had corporate experience in it.
And in others it's because they they see it as a you know as a need in their community so.
What what do you reports I read before it's American Express and they report on the state of women owned businesses earlier in the year.
And women are now in almost everything.
Ten years ago there were a lot of industries where there were none of us we're now on almost everything that where the biggest rice has been is in construction and mining.
That's awesome that hammer baking cookies.
I think -- does make a lot of money baking cookies to do so but I think they are expanding opportunities to make a lot more money and let's basically saying to outsource to get out on do something.
And I -- opportunities are there but is that so called glass ceiling still there.
In some industries and I think we're getting a lot smarter about how to break through those.
Listen to this woman who does the car repair and how she wants to talk to girls and is talking to girls.
I think there are things are gonna sit you know the idea I always thought that -- Odd dogs are voicing cats were girls get a write and I I think we are we are getting over that notion that there are things that only.
Men can do -- only women can do.
I think there's a lot of understanding in business that you know.
We can do we can do is good job in some cases a better job depending on what -- AME totally different character traits you know into of -- and -- arguably.
Well some -- better.
And complementary.
And they're complementary that we I think that's why we're put here it had to be ready to other exactly exactly OK so I mean let let's talk about now what happen.
Is next year and going forward you start to see more people come more people start businesses are you seeing people kind of take a -- and see approach.
We can see what happens -- all these rules and regulations down -- -- Again I think the people we're dealing with.
They are -- -- business they're struggling with the same things that people -- -- have more experience are struggling getting access to to financing.
They're struggling getting that the big thing rate of customers that they know they need to grow their business.
But today.
Aren't starting businesses every day and their random and growing them and hiring we should talk next time I wanna know what we do we tell who's hiring I certainly certainly -- -- -- -- people that are.
No really -- CEO count me in and the website again tell us is make mine a million dot pork guests make mine a million -- -- work.
Good -- I take it out.
