Tonight on the dock of the demise of the free market in America and what we can do about it.

The report today -- United States slid in ranks of the world's most economically free countries.

America sank from number six the number ten.

These rankings are based on a country's freedom to compete security of private property.

Voluntary exchanges.

And personal choices.

Well -- a government that mandates health care.

Tells us what food we can put into our bodies taxes the most productive -- positive values our money shuts down children's lemonade stands.

And plays favorites was well heeled corporate donors.

There's no wonder we're drifting away from the top ranks of economic freedom.

This new alarming report comes just a day after the president called for sharply higher taxes.

And what can only be called the greatest -- to prosperity.

Since the debt ceiling debacle.

The worst part of it is President Obama knows that what He is doing is terrible for the economy and for business had a we know that just listen to him.

In 2009.

-- -- asking you wanna do is to raise taxes in the middle of recession.

Because that would just suck up.

Take more demand out of the economy and put businesses.

In -- -- whole.

And put businesses and her overhaul and He said the same thing even -- recently.

The president knows raising taxes won't work.

He probably also knows his job Sachs has no chance of getting through the congress so what does the president trying to accomplish.

Here to discuss is a veteran of all these wars south Carolina Republican senator Lindsey Graham senator Graham at the pleasure welcome back to freedom watch.

Thank you very much to to appreciate it very very much.

And you got to pick up your game -- -- and lasted about this.

Nice to hear that in the past few weeks the president has proposed borrowing and a half a trillion dollars and raising taxes in the future.

And raising taxes on the most productive among us anyone around the country pushing both of these plans senator Graham are they both dead on arrival in the congress.

Absolutely because Democrats are not gonna vote for this say that what's the difference between 2009 and 2011.

This is polling numbers this is not economic policies trying to create a wedge issue.

Between Republicans and the public but He forgot about Democrats.

We don't want to increase taxes on job creators when I have -- unemployment so this is a political document not economic document.

And it's gonna go nowhere.

Senator Graham which produces more prosperity in the long run government government spending.

Or entrepreneurial investment and risk.

The last time I checked the American dream was to create your own business.

Pass it on your kids and they could do better than you.

And that is being lost the -- and manage -- -- passing on.

But we need jobs we don't need more money coming to Washington.

So this president's policies have failed watch.

Why don't we have high unemployment who's gonna hire when you don't know what your health care bill it's going to be because of Obama healthcare coming into being in point fourteen.

This gonna hire when the regulatory costs coming out the Obama administration -- every day.

This got to hire somebody knew when the tax cuts -- 2013.

And you don't know what you're tax bill's going to be and how can you are somebody banks won't lend you money.

-- she got the Obama administration basically taken over loaning money in this country.

There's no accident that these policies are failing there -- designs.

Agreed with everything you -- wouldn't admit it wouldn't have been easier to restrain the government.

Had you on many of your colleagues in the senate in in the house not voted to let him borrow another 2.4 trillion last month I didn't know about -- -- you didn't -- no.

If it I didn't realize we were on the same track -- -- and I'm and I wish I correct that.

You know what why we we -- what are we gonna do what are we gonna do about the NLRB.

This is supposed to be a neutral arbiter.

Between labor and management.

This left wing agency -- had succeeded in stopping.

Many people from working in your state where Boeing built the plant the sides of eleven football fields and they can't open it up.

It's even more dangerous and that this is an unelected bureaucracy.

Is supposed to resolve labor this peace between business.

And unions -- unions in Washington filed a complaint against Boeing in March 2010.

Boeing built a billion dollar facility in South Carolina.

And after they got the -- facility almost built the NLRB took up the case and here's the -- being requested.

Shut the plant down in South Carolina moved it back to Washington even if you want to destroy job creation America.

-- unelected bureaucracy the ability to shut down a plant.

In one state and move it to another state people will go overseas because they won't -- their business of that kind of remedy so this is.

A bastard doesn't have a law this is not arbor trading this -- this is taking up political agenda and trying to enacted to.

Administrative bodies because she can't pass such laws through the congress.

Senator I want you -- in another controversy this one in the Republican Party governor Rick Perry of Texas.

Cause Social Security a Ponzi scheme you -- argued that without Social Security maybe 50% of our seniors would be below the poverty level.

Question senator Graham is at the job of the federal government to keep seniors above the poverty.

I think is the job of the federal government to administer these programs in responsible fashion and we haven't been doing that on my parents that I was 41 and 42.

My -- is a survivor benefits from Social Security issues thirteenth it helped our family.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Pretty good conservatives.

Mr.

-- Rand Paul might me and Lindsey Graham has found a way to fix Social Security.

Keep it from going bankrupt without raising taxes if protects people near retirement it -- the age -- were all living longer.

We've got to increase the age eligibility means -- benefits.

So I do believe Social Security's important point for centric.

Tell -- a lot of us are gonna outlive our -- one K plans.

But you're right in everyone who's looked that is right it is going bankrupt because it's been fully managed right now you get back 75 cents on the dollar who would voluntarily.

Put their money in a bank that on the return 75 cents I don't believe in part I believe in personal accounts.

Where you can manage your own money and nobody would come and can you imagine a system where the money was and your name and the federal government that judge satellite -- your money you say no thanks.

It doesn't work that way -- need to change sense of security we need to save it but at the end of the day.

If you want to create jobs in that one person for you better change the tax -- the way we regulate away litigate.

And and and and really the way the government works because this harder created job in this environment in the United States senator Lindsey Graham always a pleasure thanks for joining us.

Go get -- you've got to think -- --
