-- to Green to fail -- slanderous scandalous threatening to burn the White House because it strikes deep into the heart of the administration's economic strategy.

Pump -- Green jobs with a select few friendly companies.

The Energy Department is moving to finalize as many as fifteen loan guarantees.

For renewable energy companies like -- for a and just the next few weeks.

Are they rushing to make sure they don't get another some wonder on their hands.

Francis to this and similar questions we turn to former presidential candidate and consumer crusader and friend that.

Ralph made a -- to pleasure welcome back to freedom watch.

Thank you what kind of a president has Barack Obama -- Domestic wise and foreign policy wise is He what you had hoped for Ralph.

None at all that he's been -- bush president for foreign and military policy why -- -- -- administration Obama bush.

In fact he's gone beyond books like the attack on Libya without even congressional.

Resolution or authorization for the money.

That was spent there.

Domestically.

He's been far too concessionary.

To the demands of Wall Street which are corporal welfare.

More tax preferences lack of criminal prosecution for the crooks up there.

And a kind of whining -- demand as if they're spoiled brats they should get their way with every government department and forget about the people.

Should the government should the federal government be able to pick winners and -- and losers Ralph.

Should -- be dispensing hundreds of billions of dollars.

And -- who receives the money and sitting on corporate boards and watching -- that spend that money or is that not the proper role for the federal government and a free society.

That would loan guarantees I mean they've got literally too big story.

Hundreds of billions of dollars of outstanding loan guarantees.

The nuclear power for example the solar -- just a newcomer.

But they've had all these loan guarantees to -- never looks into -- well if they're guarantees in the company goes belly up the taxpayer pays the bill to the bank who.

Extended the loan under a taxpayer guarantee.

No nuclear plants will be built in this country according to the nuclear industry itself but I a 100%.

Taxpayer loan guarantee that means that these companies can't beat that.

The test of the marketplace that means they can ensure themselves because they're on insurer believe the taxpayer has to underpriced Anderson based insurer themselves.

It's a very bad scene it's amazing how the business press is ignored this whole history.

Of loan guarantees.

Ralph what what what are we to do when -- government to blatantly avoids the constitution.

When the president starts wars without congressional authorization and the congress looks the other way when the president takes money and gives it to his friends when this crony capitalism goes on -- this is not the vision of the country.

Ordained by the framers and is He isn't even arguably constitutional.

But that doesn't seem to be anything stopping it.

The only remedy left in the constitution is the impeachment remedy.

Unfortunately the framers never dreamed as you know very welcome your books.

They never dreamed that when they separated the powers between legislative executive -- judicial.

That one branch would give up its constitutional authority namely congress.

Giving up its constitutional authority to the president.

We now have increased in the elected dictatorship and elected dictator -- regardless of what party is in the White House so what we need.

-- is we've got to have a constitutional amendment.

That will give people -- right to go to the courts to challenge unconstitutional behavior the challenge illegal behavior right now the -- say.

To all Americans you have no standing to -- our all this foreign policy stuff it's a political issue we're not gonna deal with that -- that means a huge hall.

I can talk to about this all night we have less than a minute left to your fellow progressive Dennis Kucinich congressman Kucinich.

Thinks that would be good for the president.

Good for the Democratic Party good for the country if He were challenged from the left I just sort of different -- in the primary is a different question to you.

Should He be challenged in the general election by a true progressive.

Like Dennis Kucinich are Ralph Nader.

Well I'm always for multi party challenges it's not like it's gonna happen.

It's a two party dictatorship the only people who can break -- into a three.

We were erase our people -- multi billionaires like Perot or Mayor Bloomberg.

But in the primary.

We're not only think it's a good idea -- Obama's challenge in the primary.

But we are going to be released in a letter shortly.

Which will go out to the couple hundred people who should take six months off.

Create a slate of distinguished Americans -- different backgrounds labor foreign military environment.

Workers poverty you name -- And challenge him so that we have a vibrant debate and we don't have a sleepy time primary because right now it's going to be -- very TDs primary.

He'll spend all this time going after the -- Republicans.

Instead of going after some fundamental constitutional.

Issues and some fun -- -- directions in this country is if the American people matter first.

Ralph Nader it's always a pleasure thanks for joining us thank you.
