The man now who was branded -- Tea Party extremist type his opponents congressman elect Bob Turner in our first on Fox Business.
Interview and truth be told Bob and I've known each other for about twenty years now so congratulations my friend thank you -- how did you know to.
-- here.
Well we had a lot of volunteers -- a lot of help but we also ahead.
On our side truth.
President Obama and mr.
-- -- and some serious problems.
All of the spend doctors -- work now.
Telling the the party faithful that it was not a referendum.
On presidential policies.
But it was the -- candidate I think we saw this before and Massachusetts.
My opponent favorite.
We're -- -- -- member of the assembly.
He's been on the City Council he's had a successful political career.
But they're essentially saying that the reason you want is because He was a bad candidate.
Yeah Bob.
I've known for twenty years I love you dearly your terrific -- business bad.
But you're not mr.
politicians so for them to say that that you who out the politic TM seems on the face of -- of -- I would think.
No one has said here comes mr.
excitement.
That would actually.
-- Well that -- at the bottom line is that even NPR which is not known.
As any as a Tea Party as as as somebody that would play up the Tea Party fact quite the opposite -- -- -- view the tea parties the enemy of America.
They said this more they interviewed think -- -- man on the street interviews interview Democrats who voted for you.
And some of them said yes it was because said they didn't like the other -- some said it was because of the Israeli issue.
But most of them interviewed said you know there was a construction worker or guy were to contract for -- I've been out of work since 2008 I've just had dribbles and -- since that we gotta get this economy thought I've never voted Republican before but until that somebody tells me that they have a formula for turning the economy around.
I'm gonna vote for the Republican.
Well let's pretty much what happened would lead our polls indicated that we were running neck and neck with union people.
In every democratic strong point so.
There is major dissatisfaction.
With the democratic or or Obama -- agenda.
Was that your number one.
Campaign slogan if you will that turn to run against the Obama economic agenda.
And that that is the issue is jobs in the economy and they're also is an underlying fear that.
Our our deficit problem is endangering everything we do.
All the social networks -- networks.
The entire economy we can't be borrowing forty cents on the dollar.
So they're looking for someone who will keep telling the truth and or forward practical solution.
Where would you Begin say that that that you didn't have the the democratic senate and a democratic president how do you think.
Miracle of miracles in 2000 -- Republicans take over the senate the presidency and maintain control of the House of Representatives where would you Begin war.
I would Begin with regulation.
With a reasonable tax structure and with the exploitation of our energy resources.
Let's start with the tax structure first 2013.
Taxes are due to go up to levels that like they were before the Bush Administration came in would you change debt.
I would vote to.
Not increase the taxes.
I think there are many.
Things we can do on the corporate levels to incentivize businesses.
To use money -- plant -- development equipment etc.
now the president would say I'm already doing it.
Well I'm not sure He would do it as in any dramatic ways as I would like to see.
The repatriation.
Of foreign preference for example let's get -- tax holiday or 5% -- A small percent.
Bring money back expanded in eighteen months will give you this tax break.
If you spend it in constructive ways new plant new equipment etc.
things that will create jobs and stimulate the economy.
-- -- money on corporate balance sheets.
Tax incentives could get cash -- those sheets in two expenditures.
And I'm talking trillions He had not not.
Me a few billion to write this write these are trillions of dollars -- -- taxpayer -- -- taxpayer dollars.
And eight an aggressive plan to.
Use our natural resources.
In every area.
Would be usual corporate money.
Create a million jobs quickly probably the fastest way.
Clearing out regulatory problems -- central.
Now here's what happened in this district and just again emphasize.
Geraldine Ferraro.
Chuck Schumer Anthony would here this is this is the district that put those people in the House of Representatives.
Suddenly they put a businessman a Republican conservative by the way girls are conservative on social issues as well concerning gay marriage and -- is so.
-- -- a whole range of issues you go against what had been the voting instance of this population.
Does it carry over into other districts and other states in the union what happened in New York -- I I think the Spin Doctors are saying no this is an anomaly.
Here in the strange ninth district.
-- I believe it carries over and I believe that.
The Democrats have a great deal to be concerned about if they can.
