Year joining me now for more on the president's upcoming speech on job creation and its likely effect on our economy is senator James and half of Oklahoma.

A member of the armed services foreign relations and environment and public works committees.

Senator thanks for being -- this is what do you expect from this president do you expect to see -- and here substance.

No no I really don't Lou we talk about this before we know -- he's gonna do we know woody -- leaves in his heart.

I'll tell you what I think it's stimulating a lot of this though.

Is that He didn't think that people who knew He could catch on to how much.

This was costing America all these regulations.

You know -- talk for the last -- several years now.

About the cap and trade and He was unable to get that we we will and He lost.

Now he's talked about did do that through regulation.

So -- start off with that that's three to 400 billion dollars a year the new get to all of the boiler Mac all these these emissions.

And it it's it's having that people realize now it's not just the employers who have been complaining for two and a half years.

In the last six months I've heard this from ever -- They all understand.

Yup it's easier when the he's spending all this money a new government deficits and debt and the fact he's raised board at that all presidents combined.

But when you talk about regulations.

People don't quite it didn't quite catch on until recently so I -- for him to have some.

Big effort to say we're gonna stop some of these owners regulations that are hard on.

On business pulled out and actually I would well that would -- but that would be positive that Lou he's not gonna billet.

You know he's been talking about this for a long time.

The did definitive victory that we had considered -- concerning ozone.

Was one that he'd find the eighties couldn't take the pressure is He decided to wait do that after the election.

So why are there for him to try to use this isn't as his issues.

Senator.

As to the economy itself and and 25 million Americans are Hurd.

What are we going to do here I haven't heard frankly beyond.

Frankly our governor Romney and -- former governor Huntsman.

They've been put forward at least some intelligent discussion of what should be done.

Governor Romney's 59 point one and I I think is compelling would you would you not expect in the bipartisan way the president to.

Borrower even steal some of those ideas for his people I.

I think that He would in also.

Governor Rick Perry.

Came out with a lot of really good staff that He could use to tried to preempt any of -- people are talking about.

But blues you have to look at the record but this guy has been.

It's it's been this incredibly destructive.

To every -- -- look at the people that he's got on his side John Bryson.

-- to be secretary of commerce here's a guy that came from the most radical left leaning environmental group and I've been in this group.

In America the NRDC he's got this Rebecca waters -- is declared war on hydraulic fracturing senator if I may have.

I mean I'm I'm quite acquainted with.

His associates his appointees.

And his 42% approval rating as of today and they down -- residential tracking poll.

The issue remains the problem to fix an economy that cannot it seems be returned.

To prosperity jobs that are not being created.

And the dearth of energy and ideas on the part of both parties.

We've got to get beyond that know what.

Well we do have to get beyond that that that you know jobs that's a direct think I had a an act that I talked about was before we have a lot of co sponsors now called the fair act.

Every time a regulation comes out they have to analyze how much is -- gonna cost in terms of jobs and -- and and money.

And consequently.

If people know that in advance they can stop some of the step yet what to do from this point forward number one stop all these owners regulations that we had number two.

Quit spending money for him to come out and I understand he's been including his speech.

-- you've got do more than just.

Cut one point five trillion dollars the next ten years but wait a minute this is coming from a president who is increase in the deficit alone.

Over one point five for three budgets in a row.

So it's an idiot you know you did answer is to quit spending is quit over regulating he's incapable of doing that He has the left -- on -- -- he's got a problem there.

A problem that we all Americans.

Share.

Unfortunately.

-- and -- thanks for being with -- good to talk with -- --
