Well it's become fashionable here in New York to say that hurricane Irene was over -- Under impressive we selfish American success too much over our small problems.
Say some and they couldn't be more wrong.
Losses will reach into the billions perhaps as much as seven billion possibly the tenth biggest storm in terms of insured losses.
And that is just the initial estimates yet to be accounted for losses from flooding that is still claiming property.
And for businesses that -- and never reopen.
Most concerning the number of deaths Irene turned out to be a killer 35 deaths so -- Making the storm the fourth deadliest ever just behind Allison Floyd and of course Katrina.
