Young people came out in -- to -- -- young senator Barack Obama to the White House.
But now they're short our prospects.
Will they short to president's reelection bid Tea Party 365 co-founder and Sirius XM radio host.
David Webb joins us now David young people came out they love the president they supported the president yet.
They're doing terrible on his leadership what's -- them.
Well what the deal is reality the rhetoric was hope and change the reality was failed stimulus the reality is a bad economy.
The reality is the jobs aren't there -- is employers aren't hiring.
You come out of -- you can out of high school.
But you're going into a skill labor blue collar whatever you learn experience it's valuable experience in the summer job.
Or in that first job after you get out of school to come out of college you've invested tens of thousands possibly over a 100000.
And that investment does not come back in the job to pay off the loans and when you start looking at the numbers in the generation opportunity poll.
It shows not only where the millennial olds and the younger ones.
Where there are not what they're not do -- what they're not do and really important Charles 44%.
Of delaying buying a home 27%.
Paid off student loans or debt which by the way.
We bail out in the end because they find a way the government -- to account for this.
And this is really important 27% going back to school are getting more education -- training.
Well than the just piled up more debt.
-- then after work and pay off.
But here's the thing -- David you look around the world you see that -- spring you see people young people are upset and Europe are said North Africa -- upset the Middle East.
Do you think because the president still viewed as hip and cool that.
Black -- critical in particular -- -- in general unions so many people are missing an opportunity to go out voice -- listen you know we're this problem is that.
They're -- back -- -- to to criticize them and it's in a certain way we'll end up making their plight even worse.
Yeah it's making their plight even worse and the fact is we've gotten very useless a week the young and those sectors that opportunities are young.
I don't know what.
But that they've gotten so complacent about it and then -- the administration hands out things they'll stay on your parents and insurance 227.
What we're doing really is were -- our culture.
That experience you -- that that life experience.
Well do you recover from that later on.
And in that gap do you also -- less money in the future which means less consumer spending less affected our economy in a positive matter.
And what we're doing -- we're creating liabilities rather than assets in the population.
And this is what's really is worrisome and you -- you hit on it right now youth participation rate in the job market is at an all time low in other words.
Young people already -- looking for a job what does this say about our future leaders say you know -- -- a bit early morning dog look for a job.
What's gonna happen because at some point they've got to take the baton and -- this kind.
-- right if you don't build a foundation.
Then how are you gonna be a better adult let's call it what it is and it would you go past that.
Right now.
No upward mobility why aren't they out in the streets march and when will they hit that point where they realize that their future severely hampered.
We have depression -- numbers seventeen point 3% unemployment that's college graduates.
Think of all those people who spent eighty to a 100000 dollars have gotten grants have got -- -- that they need to pay off.
I mean this this is a serious problem and our parents -- -- -- can't bear the bear the financial -- So we -- this segment as what they're gonna do with respect to their relationship with the president.
Do you think they'll come out for the president again do you think they'll say OK you know what -- -- is actually gotten worse but still not his fault or are they gonna finally sort of have some sort of an epiphany say.
Maybe these kind of policies don't work.
You know and if I wish I could say yes they will buy 2012.
But the reality is that again youth indiscretions of our youth the acceptance of our situation.
We've seen track in that says they are not gonna come out that fast.
However.
Jobs and economy and their parents put their parents are out of work one parent is out of work -- to use the work.
There might be more familial pressure to pay attention to the reality and politics that's our big hope that the parents combined -- those realities -- come up.
Well something's got the -- up because they're -- better are really appreciated thank you very much David.
