Marcel fair -- is with us right now down and Orlando president and founder of LEDs -- myself they surveillance.
Thank you -- -- before we dive in to.
Year's state of the state tell no one would LED source is.
Certainly LEV source is a not company based in South Florida who is in the business of bringing LED lighting technology and LEB.
Lighting savings to the the masses basically.
We founded the company on commercial clients primarily.
We do break into residential and we're actually.
In the process of developing a residential.
It -- business model as well.
In our franchise system.
But -- we focus primarily on.
Commercial clients who.
Are able to generate huge savings very rapid pay backs.
Very strong our allies on that -- replacing.
General lighting products with -- Okay since socio I want to understand your background -- little -- bad because you you do Alley he lightning.
For our entertainment architectural.
And we have retrofit markets and you just said that you're moving into the housing market but -- you -- in advance right.
You're an -- that I -- metal rock band.
When I was and remarkable because my hair doesn't show it anymore or my weight I was probably.
-- five pounds thinner and had a little longer hair but.
This all started for me as a musician and while I was a musician.
I very much became attached to the creative side of performing.
To especially lighting.
And then found a way to make a career in lighting and entertainment lighting.
Being concerts theater television.
And down from there we've basically liaison didn't see -- the LED business and 2002.
Which was very early on in LED lighting.
It was an early on I I've I find attendance and sentencing now because you go from being an advance and being.
Making a career basically -- relating this stuff and now -- you I'm not.
I'm not this year in TV land but I learned so much over the years -- -- relating is in.
You know about my head there's you know.
Probably I'm Andrea are well -- -- not that many but fifty different you know.
Light bulbs that we and that could be shooting a different things at different times.
And I know you you learned I learned I didn't know.
So that's that parts -- amazing and then you don't even.
It is and you could have.
Get you -- actually just said that I I went from being in his musician.
To starting a career because.
I really wasn't making any money as well positioned and that's really what drove my my change to look for a career so.
It was really a natural to move into lighting and again from there into LED lighting which really at this point is is becoming the future very rapidly so.
It was it is but it wasn't in 2002.
What made you do that back then because really you think the risk.
Well and I'd like to say that I was a genius but you can't really.
That we saw an opportunity primarily to bring LEV lighting technology to.
Those same entertainment and architectural clients.
Who were buying these products through sources that didn't necessarily have the expertise or the the background to be able to.
Really lead them to the answers they all knew you know we really should be using LED technology.
On our projects.
But we don't really know how to go about it and that's kind of what became our position -- we became the experts in -- lighting and we helped our clients and still do today.
Find solutions and we help them to.
Now those solutions really are more driven by a operation operational costs.
We reduce their their operating costs in their businesses by reducing.
Electricity up says eighty or 90% in many cases.
And getting them pay backs inside a year usually flat.
80%.
Still -- isn't it a bang for their buck through this whole thing I mean is it retrofit.
Is it brand new architecture.
Who benefits.
Months.
Yes actually all of them for different reasons -- entertainment in architecture it's usually a maintenance issue these people.
Want lights that they don't have to.
Put a lot of effort into because LEDs inherently last for many many years without any kind of maintenance they don't produce heat.
It really is the perfect light source from a maintenance standpoint they don't break.
And the winners on the retrofit side really.
Are the people who use lights the most so.
-- parking garage as hotels hospitals schools.
People who have lights on for 24 hours a day are gonna see pay backs on their investment in -- lighting.
Usually inside seven or eight months -- and there's not many products in the world let alone something that is Green.
That the government really wants -- to use that the government.
Has issued.
Mandates -- laws to.
To -- other types of lighting products he would have to make a change anyways.
But LED just becomes the natural.
Changed to make because there Arnold toxins there are there isn't Mercury and LEDs.
As as compared to other options out there.
It really is the perfect light source.
