That negotiations congresswoman Diane black -- -- black is a Republican from Tennessee who sits on the powerful budget and Ways and Means Committee is Diane.

But we really any close -- would deal right now.

Well I don't know whether removing any closer -- not that will be up to those who were in those closed door meetings but I can tell you that we've done our work.

I'm very disappointed that it's come -- -- this time that we're coming to the eleventh hour and now we've got the president involved.

And engaged in this conversation.

I want to let you know that seven -- seven of us freshmen have sent the president a letter over thirty days ago asking him for his plan.

We have a plan back in April from the republic in.

-- Budget Committee and we passage in the house and we still have not heard anything from the president very disappointed in that.

It is that that's gonna ask you about that does it seem like there really isn't the plan because every day.

I get information that to mobilize the information I got just the -- the floor.

Well the president said he had a -- and he did talk about a plan but he never put anything on paper.

And the Congressional Budget Office said in our Budget Committee meeting they cannot -- planned unless it is written.

And we ask the president to give us his plan is written plan.

And pretty much what he -- to us when we were at the White House -- this -- they wanna give us the plan to be there wanna be criticized.

Well we all have to be big boys and girls we know we're gonna be criticized the put the plan on the table.

Bill it as part of this you're not getting information from your own party because senator Johnson from Wisconsin earlier today expressed frustration.

Indeed the way these meetings are sort of held behind closed the lawyers and some of them -- secretive meetings do you feel like you are and having the proper audience with.

But the higher ranking members of -- own party right now.

I'm so frustrated about that at this point I just feel like if we would have.

Come to the table everyone would have come to the table -- lot earlier than this we wouldn't have to be going through this process begin actually be doing all this in the light of day.

I'm with members.

Weighing in -- in there.

Their decisions and choices about what those -- -- what but they're talking about and sell.

Again I'm frustrated -- this that the president has waited until the eleventh hour and now it's going to be -- -- Russian.

There'll be some good ideas that come out of this but I'm not so sure that you can.

I'm put forward -- plans on whatever comes out of this in the short period of time.

How are you line and I am I I'm hesitant to -- tax increases that certainly a part of that would be getting rid of some tax breaks.

Where do you sit in terms of where those issues stand today.

Well let me just say this as I have been out in my community for the last six months talking to businesses than asking them.

What is it gonna take for you to grow your business create jobs and therefore stimulate the economy.

And -- even telling me over and over again please don't raise our taxes please company more mandates and regulations on us.

And so I am not inclined to do that to our business is because we know that this is the reason why businesses are not.

Moving forward in addition to that.

-- camp has had.

I'm listening sessions for all the members of the Ways and Means Committee talking about tax reform.

Really do tax reform but again -- -- want to do this in the eleventh hour you want to do that in a very.

Thoughtful way so that it's done correctly it's a big issue -- a big deal you -- you need to be done the right way.

We are in the eleventh hour thank you congresswoman black we appreciate your time today.
