If you want to make it -- money you might simply wanna look to the -- I'm talking about cloud computing the very first cloud computing exchange traded fund launched today.
Brian he's content -- the first trust advisors senior vice president and exchange traded fund strategist.
He's the man behind it and and let's first explain to people who I started -- about cloud computing here on Fox Business about three years ago when we first launched.
But it's surfers in the sky where people can do everything they want at a faster pace from any computer no matter what correct.
Absolutely and in -- also from a business standpoint bring scale to many small and midsize businesses that now don't have to invest in large servers and -- huge IT department.
I'm so it really cuts costs for businesses going forward in addition to all the consumer application should also say that none of the social media could happen without cloud.
Computing companies correct absolutely -- really the cloud is enabled by.
The number of broadband subscribers that are now.
That have you know.
Individuals have embraced broadband -- over half a billion broadband subscribers worldwide.
-- the ticker symbol for it is SK.
Why why for sky with two -- there it's up -- concerns about frighten you've got about a just under 350000.
Shares trading today right sephardic.
So not about it all of the moment -- -- eight cents there's intraday picture you're getting attention here let's pull it apart.
What companies are -- Well we have forty companies in the index 80% of which are classified as pure place.
Now this would include companies like Netflix or companies like an Adobe would be excuse me juniper or.
There's a group efforts it grew up.
Brownout wait how networks -- pure play.
We'll Netflix is -- all about yet because it's all about streaming movies.
Sure they have their other business where they send you dvds but.
That the growth ahead for Netflix comes from their streaming movies that you don't have to download on your computer and you don't have to take -- -- computing space are hard drive space it's all done through the cloud outcome there also 10% allocated to larger companies like Microsoft.
Like apple.
Companies that are definitely involved in the cloud but are not pure -- you've picked -- companies -- CEO we have on here call right now.
Talk about right now because that company caught our attention we thought it was very interest.
-- right now is is one of again 23 companies so we don't focus specifically on these individual story so much as we do.
The overall story which is infrastructure.
Platform.
And software being delivered as a service as opposed to delivered.
You know it on your local PC if you're confident about the cloud in enough itself why include larger.
Basic technology companies in this sepia that what you have to include a Microsoft or an apple because they are major players in the cloud.
With the way that we and I have included them though is that a smaller.
10% weight.
So all the -- including them in the next because certainly.
They are part of cloud computing and they have a much smaller weight and some of the pure place.
I I tend to ask in technology situations for example who's to say that this won't flame out it's just that we all depend now on doing stuff on the cloud -- it but I am not a techie type -- person but.
I'm doing a lot of stuff like I always mention Google documents because you could jump from any computer and it's always there -- Say for example Microsoft work which has to be where you actually started that on your PC at work -- at home whether it's about.
But what needs to happen to guarantee success in the cloud computing space in future yeah I think -- what could become monetized this -- What has enabled the cloud to grow thus far is very strategic deployment of different software -- infrastructure it's enabled by broad band exposure so.
As that grows as people move away from that slow dial up connection to broadband and that expands around the globe.
-- there's just so many different ways that you can utilize the power.
Of of that broad band and of the Internet but not have to download and take up a lot of space on your personal computer.
Or a server for a -- -- Brian -- kind and on the first day of launching SK YY that of course is a cloud computing ATF public NE TF out of anything we're thrilled to have your congratulations.
Great to be with you we will be watching is very close.
