It's not necessarily a place where there are many Americans though some do stay in that hotel.

And the good news is it's all being handled by the Afghan national security forces.

There are no US personnel involved in what appears to be several gunman still on the tops floors or on the roof.

And -- hiding in the rooms hopefully it will be resolved soon perhaps before dawn.

And that attack here we understand -- been reports that helicopters have attacked the the terrorists -- I have via hotel under siege and under attack.

And we have all.

Only of course -- rudimentary.

Information coming in but we will be updating everyone on the autism is is the information is available.

To that there that there's a strong view amongst our troops in Afghanistan about the president's decision to.

To accelerate withdrawal of our troops from Afghanistan.

I give us a sense of what their thinking how their reacted.

Well of course the answer that I near US marine would give to a question about the president's decision is they're US Marines -- they go where their commander in chief -- that whether it's to another war or.

Here or home.

I also would tell you Lou there's a great sense among those I've covered here now for ten years in this war that this war is being one.

I've got one of those young Marines right here beside me.

Certain first ardent -- fund bluff forgive me it's late.

First sergeant -- fountain has been in for combat tours over here -- -- and he knows what this war is like.

And perhaps it's best to give you his impression right from him.

First -- give us a sense for how you see this proceeding.

Why actually see that -- make a lot of progress over here.

In it bright pretty much starts off with a good foundation from the -- scientist came here in early 2010.

Since then.

We've got -- a lot of progress with the Afghan National Army and the Afghan National Police.

Since then and since -- but China's got here it's beginning this year we have completely dominated area and now for -- the enemy.

Which are the Taliban enough freedom of movement and out most definitely separating them from the.

Population -- there's no doubt -- that time that we've been over here -- on this particular trip for you see it all over Afghan National Police and army.

Literally all over the place they weren't here a year ago.

When the Marines first one and a margin it was a gun fight.

And now you've got an open market a -- this obviously attracting a great deal of -- an entrepreneurial skills if you will from those out here -- since one Fox Business they've obviously succeeded -- -- All.
