Government regulation on everything from health care to taxes to patent reform.

Larry nannies of the what a small business men and women across the country telling you about their mind sets right now.

Well I think that part of the issue is that.

Probably.

65% or more of our members -- are just really concerned about all of the uncertainties that are going on right now you've got.

The tax cuts that Wu.

Ended 2012 you've got trying to understand the health care regulations and how that's gonna impact your business.

You've got the financial regulations that and how that's going to impact your business.

So between that and just the inability to access capital that continued inability to be able to access capital.

These are the things that -- are constituency our members are.

Telling lesser issues.

More about why eight your members can't access capital is it because.

Loan requirements are becoming more stringent what's the problem -- because the -- say there's no demands.

Her loans yet you're telling us that small business owners -- having trouble getting capital.

Well I think think the issue is two -- I think first -- -- The vehicles that were in place two years ago when they.

We're trying to open up the capital markets and the way the economy is right now are very different so that the needs that small businesses had in.

In 2008.

Were more -- -- Term loans and and and loans that you could.

And they have exhausted their inventories and now they need working capital bones and they need revolving loans.

And there are no provisions within the SBA.

Of any great value to to be able to help with the guarantee process that's been used in in in prior loans -- That the SBA is and that the banks have given so.

Larry we mentioned this -- that we had on yesterday talking about having to cancel health care because it was -- -- it was more efficient for him not to offered at all.

And to pay the penalties are you seeing a massive number of small businesses across the country they're gonna opt for that route at the health -- bill continues as is.

No we're not we're not seeing that our our members are are confused in there and they are very much interested in.

Trying to get a better understanding as to how how health care costs.

Are.

Are are going to impact them and how the implementation of the -- is gonna.

Is gonna help them but for the most part they're looking at alternative ways of dealing with the increases that they're looking at.

-- did get rid of some of this uncertainty I mean could it be something as simple as just better explanations.

You know meeting examples like this you coming to -- with us today explaining you know what that.

This new climate is all about for small business.

-- well I think anytime you can.

Put together -- regulation that's in plain language plain English so that the common layman can understand that I think there goes a long way and trying to understand.

How the Lars gonna impact people we were we were fortunate to have this plain language bill passed.

Last year that basically took a number of regulations and tried to our mandate congress and the regulators to put them into plain English and I think that's the biggest problem is.

The regulations are not written for the -- they're written for professionals like myself and and and did small business.

Needs that are.

Needs our help to.

Be able to interpret them I think put the put the information in a language -- small business can understand.

And I think that doubt go a long way toward compliance -- -- an understanding of what the impact of these new laws are.

Larry I've got a couple seconds here in the absence of repealing obamacare entirely what's the one thing you would.

Go to lawmakers with and say look we really need this repeal don't make a big difference.

Something -- with regard to health care.

And with regard just in general in general.

Well I think that one of the things that was passed in city and last September.

And the small business jobs act was the ability to be able to deduct self employed health insurance.

When you're calculating your self employment tax that provision died at the end of 2000 intent if congress could turn around.

And enact or extend that provision so that extended into 2011.

And beyond and perhaps made it permanent.

I think that would go a long way to helping small businesses in their and their costs of health care insurance thank you Larry appreciate it Larry nannies who appreciate --
