-- us so a 12 punch to businesses and the job market -- -- is by the federal -- tell you about that are big wins for big labor.
First the National Labor Relations Board proposing new rules to speed up the timeframe for union elections.
Meanwhile a new Labor Department role requires companies to disclose more information about -- they -- to respond to union organizing campaigns.
With reaction -- Rogers.
CN CEO of point across.
Company and -- these two these two decisions might seem small but if you stack up everything the Obama administration has done.
By the Labor Department by the National Mediation Board -- had that labor relations board.
These are -- time and again for labor.
I don't know that that's so bad that it did you know that I don't think of that Dubai yes that they that the administration is is the biggest problem and of course.
You know requiring.
Something of one side meaning of the management side and not the same thing from the late beside.
Is crazy of course that's by tested that means that does somebody's trying to do -- get votes I mean it's corrupt -- it's all those things yet.
What's good for the goose is good for the -- -- -- -- rules it spreads for both management and labor and they will -- in that sense that is that they were equal and that would be the determination of fairness that it would be okay what have you looked.
Did that National Labor Relations Board decision against Boeing is that there because many read that is just an attack on right to work states.
And again that's another thing and I'm talking about.
Yeah absolutely that's on -- course have 22 declared effective Boeing could move to South Carolina to make that move.
Illegal.
Is it is obviously on -- -- in the sense that they have -- one parties not being treated equally as the other party.
See you can't do that I mean that's that's just that corruption of the law in.
And that's if they.
Wait what is -- for the job market you think because again.
You head.
Private in the private sector are the union movement in the cloud for more than thirty years and a couple years ago it looked like.
The government was going to be a gravy train for the union movement now -- they've people of the country turning against it.
And I wonder if that desperation.
Is it gonna mean more of these moves and maybe make it worse for the job market overall.
Well it is bad for the job market because in -- right to work state obviously people there are more jobs they successful you look at the state -- -- for example what they have done.
Just recently that added more jobs -- any other state it is our right to work state.
All of those things are are are are -- -- -- coming back to the thing about fairness and all of that where that within the government.
You'll for example they require the SEC requires corporate executives to disclose all kinds of things about a major corporation it does not require the same thing.
Our union executive that's again another thing that is unfair.
The playing field has to be even if the playing -- is even.
Then both sides -- in other words they should be cooperation between unions and management.
I am a member of the union for example that's very successful very successful -- -- for the corporations is very successful for the members of the union.
It can be done if people will recognize a standard that applies to both parties you can't heavy tilting one way or the other.
You're talk about the screen actors -- -- Yes correct yes but that's different because that that -- that might be one of the only exceptions because it's not extracting.
Right at me because it represents people who don't work for any one company right wind where you don't have that is -- that you needed the existence of that back in the day.
That that is true all of that is true the benefits that that that came out of that I think I've you know -- a you'll forgive the expression but president Ronald Reagan was -- -- president Screen Actors Guild.
And and what came out of that that was good is affect the pension plans and -- -- lot of things that we're established and those are good for the members.
It's fair though it's been a very fair thing when that -- -- there are labor relations between the guild and and that produces.
It's always been let's trade let's do things that are good for both parties and that's what they try to do.
My name is great to see -- as always take -- you can't please come back to yield more often mr.
Wayne Rogers okay.
